My favorite holiday tradition is on Christmas eve. My kids and I open our new pajamas under the tree, go change, and play board games until we drop.

Just shared the giveaway with my friends on my FB page. I've always loved Classic Hound collars.
Since I live far from my family, my Christmas tradition has been to hang out at home with my greyhound, watch movies or a bad TV show (an entire series!) and eat junk all day. Imagine how much better it would be with a Classic Hounds Christmas collar!

I bring my hounds to visit residents at the nursing home. They love seeing the hounds with their reindeer antlers on.

Every Christmas Eve we all take the dogs for a evening walk round the two villages where we live to look at all the christmas lights.

My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas dinner with the family, we all sit around long after we finish eating and just talk and joke and laugh our heads off.

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking Christmas cookies. I usually take a whole day off from work since all of my family members now have their 'favorites' and so I have to make 5 or 6 different kinds of cookies :)

My favorite holiday tradition is the Jingle Bell Walk put on my group in Boston. Greyhounds dressed in holiday gear stroll through the city to promote greyhounds as pets and raise money for Dr.Couto's canine cancer research. There's just something about greyhounds in antlers ;)

Oh they're super cute! My favorite Christmas tradition is bringing the tree in on December 23rd, putting up the lights and ornaments on the tree (and decorating the rest of the house as well). Then turning all other lights off and relax by the fire with nothing but the Christmas Tree lights on.

Our favorite tradition for the Holidays is being home on Christmas morning! Having a little one, this is his time - Family travels are done either before or after Christmas morning!

I have 2 favorite traditions, one is what everyone else likes and the other is one I started doing 15 years ago, so its my special tradition. First i really like driving around on Christmas eve looking at all the lights. Second is I go out every year and buy massive quantities of healthy treats and chews for all my dogs and foster dogs. On Christmas morning I dump everything into the middle of the living room floor and Let all the dogs go at it picking what ever they want. They really like this and are awed by the amount of stuff for them. They dont know what to pick because there is so much there:). Patty

My favorite holiday tradition is getting the tree from the local volunteer fire dept in town and then decorating it while I listen to R&B Christmas music, drink wine and dance like no one is watching.(except the Whippets of course!!!) The end result is a magical and beautiful tree! And a slightly tipsy me!!!

My favorite holiday tradition is our yearly gingerbread house building competition. We all form teams, and work together building our own "unique" designs, then all the parents and grandparents choose judges, and the teams give pitches to sell their designs, as gingerbread real-estate! Awards are given for different categories, and then we get to eat them!

Our favorite tradition is to go on Christmas Eve to a very nice hotel, with our friends and our two whippets. Zoë en Zita (the whippets) are wearing their christmas coats and if we're lucky we can walk in the snow. Afterwards a very nice dinner..

When my children were growing up I would take them to the children's Crib Service on Christmas Eve afternoon, when the greatest thrill & honour was to help carry up the figures to the crib set up in front of the altar. Once they were older I continued attending but afterwards I would call in on an elderly friend, have a cup of tea & piece of cake, exchange our presents then go on home to prepare for the big day. She died a few years ago & somehow attending the service lost some of its charm. This year I have a two year old Grandson to take to the Crib Service for the first time so, hopefully, my tradition will continue for a good few more years yet!

Our favorite Christmas tradition is putting Christmas tags on a tree - each tag in memory of a pet or family member who has passed over.

One of my favorite traditions has got to be going to cut down the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. We get to ride the hay ride out to the field and pick the perfect one. My kids love it.

Oh my, we've several favourite Christmas traditions involving both humans and hounds!

On Christmas day we have a family tradition of exchanging very silly presents over Christmas Dinner. One year, my Mum in Law bought me a darning mushroom in the guise of this tradition and my husband has ended up with gifts like a balloon modelling kit.

On boxing day, there is the traditional and annual Lincolnshire Greyhound walk, where retired greyhounds and their owners all meet up for a chance to walk off the Christmas excesses and catch up with each other and the hounds.

I mustn't forget the hounds either - each year they receive a special rawhide card on Christmas Day, which keeps them happy for an hour or so whilst we open our presents.

I guess I just love being home, and having breakfast all together in our pjs before opening gifts.

I also love buying a gag gift and passing it around, taking pictures. Last year, I got some pretty sweet goofy glasses that we all wore... even the dogs :)
