How could I not share the fun times had by all during our most recent canning adventure? It's been a family tradition for generations to can pickles every fall with my great grandmother's pickle recipe. This is seriously one of my most favorite treats to nibble on all year round. I have fond memories of eating nearly an entire quart on my own when we'd make a visit to my grandma Flossie's house.....yummmm!
I also discovered that Abby and Dewey LOVE cucumbers during our pickle party. Abby is the queen of food snatching in this house, and she was happy to oblige on Dewey's account. Here's a few pictures of them chowing down on their green, crunchy, cucumber booty.
